Dr Emily Forward is a Sydney-based dermatologist renowned for her warm, personalised care and comprehensive expertise across medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. VMO at Royal North Shore Hospital, and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD), she holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) — a distinctive combination that brings both clinical precision and strategic insight to her work.

Dr Forward completed her dermatology training at some of Sydney’s most respected teaching hospitals, including Royal Prince Alfred, Westmead, Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore, and The Skin Hospital. Her commitment to equitable healthcare has taken her far beyond metropolitan settings — from delivering care to rural and regional communities across New South Wales, to volunteering her expertise in under-resourced areas such as India, Madagascar, and Ethiopia.

Her special interests include skin cancer management, acne, acne scarring, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, laser treatments, and cosmetic procedures. She remains actively engaged in dermatological research, regularly contributing to peer-reviewed journals and presenting at both national and international conferences.
